Comment: I am not sure I agree with your views on health care, and I surely don't understand the problem, but I have to believe that something other than a new Medicare program is the answer.

Comment: Richard - I will keep this short, but I wanted to tell you what a great website you have. I found it by accident. I was reading a blog in the WSJ last week where you had posted a comment. You have a great perspective on life and people. Keep up the good work. Any thoughts about a book? I find your writing style and humor just great. Keep up the great work.

Comment: Yes the government is, or should be us. There is a very large concern today about getting better health care. Isn't that an expression of the public will? Isnt the view that government should be minimized an anti-democratic idea? How can privatized health care be better than government legislated health care when the private version is based entirely on profits and has no commitment to citizens per se?

Comment: QUINN FOR PRESIDENT! Finally, someone who understands what's wrong with healthcare! Why can't it be a freely-traded commodity, just like auto insurance? We need to get healthcare to the 'you get what you pay for' level. What other commodity do we buy without first knowing the cost? Why can't you call adoctor and ask "how much is an office visit?" without them asking "do you have insurance?"? WAKE UP, AMERICA!

Comment: Quinn, Great insight! I stumbled across your comments about "executive pay" and find you quite insightful. I used to think I had the answers, now I am confused as to what the questions are! Keep up the good work! "But the dips, sell the flips".

Comment: I thoroughly enjoyed your comments and appreciate you sharing insights on Healthcare and life in general. I got a kick out of your writing style and the levity that you bring to some of these topics. Your recent commentary about latex gloves was spot on. I think the same thing each time I see service folks wearing them. It gives them a false sense of security to touch everything...hopefully nothing to do with a bathroom.

Comment: Hey, visited the sites today. The issue with Mortgage crisis is good. I always wondered how some of these folks afforded these heavy mortgages. Guess they are finding out that big is not best. PS: got to watch those troopers in SC. First I heard of that one. Slow down Cuz.

Comment: Honestly, I think you are old and grumpy. To be frank, I didn't read much of your site because it was depressing. Maybe its because I am 20 years old and still enjoy the new experiences life has to offer ... stop complaining and go live. Life is too short.
